Have not been there for a couple years, but realy enjoyed the time that I have spent In Evarts and the park. People there are realy nice and helpful. Looking forward to spending some time there this spring, around the first of april

I do miss the mountains!!! I don't get to come home as much as I would like but it's still home to me...Born here ('66) completed school ('84) here and worked with the best people ever right here in Harlan Co., these people are "Coal Miners". After retiring from mining I migrated north (Cincinnati) to work in home remodeling..."THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME--THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME"

Evarts was always a nice little town when we were growing up and traded at Mack's food market. attended EHS and graduated and left the area in 1967 and have visted for short periods but haven't lived back there since.
